Brides & You is a quarterly bridal fashion magazine, which was launched from Lahore, Pakistan in 2001. Each issue is packed with gripping editorial content including photo shoots which highlight the latest bridal trends in dress, makeup and styling, jewelry and so much more related to weddings. A wide variety of topics is covered ranging from fashion to lifestyle, from events to exclusive celebrity interviews and from vacation/honeymoon hotspots to serious issues such as psychosexual problems, health and relationship advice. Brides & You is now nearing its 15th anniversary in the industry, connecting readers with the world of Pakistani fashion at a global level. Currently, this glossy has the largest print run in Pakistan, among the quarterlies. It is distributed in Pakistan, India, the Gulf, North America and Europe. It reaches thousands of readers across the globe and has now been made available on Android and IOS phones.
Injila Baqir Zeeshan has over 20 years of journalistic experience. She has worked at the national dailies, The Nation, Pakistan Today and Daily Times. Her writings have been regularly published for the last 24 years in The News, The Nation, Daily Times, Pakistan Today, Pique Magazine, Herald, Eastern Eye UK, Me & My Wedding Magazine, She Women”s Magazine, Movie Magazine and many more. She was heading the magazine section of Pakistan Today, producing the weekly Sunday magazine “The Lounge”. She was the first one to ever produce a daily page of Lifestyle for any Pakistani newspaper at The Daily Times. She also dabbles in fashion photography. She has a Masters degree in English Literature from Punjab University and has also studied Creative Writing at Exeter College, Oxford, UK. She has been running the quarterly fashion magazine Brides & You for the last 15 years, which has the largest circulation for a quarterly in Pakistan currently.
Nabila Zar Malick has done her Masters in International journalism and currently, she works as the director advocacy for a national NGO. She has been an editorial advisor for Brides & You for the last 15 years.
Mehreen Khan has been the managing editor of Brides & You since it started. She has worked on numerous cover shoots, designing and supervising magazine layouts and writing several articles, providing tips and insights into the world of fashion and life&style.
Maryam has done her post graduation in English Literature from Punjab University and studied Language Skills at Southern Polytechnic University, Georgia,USA. She has been associated with advertising for various international telecom organisations. When not writing, she can be found loitering, stargazing or reading each and everything she can put her hands on, from disclaimers found on disposable cans to best sellers and literary classics.
Beenish Mahmood has a Masters in English Literature and has experience in the field of Magazine Journalism. In past she has worked for the National Daily Pakistan Today.
