The classic silhouette of Pippa Middleton’s white lace wedding dress features a high neck, open back and cap sleeves.  She’s also topped it off with a pearl-speckled veil. 

The dress brings out certain familiarity with another famous wedding gown from someone in her own family. Her older sister Kate Middleton, who wed Prince William six years ago, also went for a classic, lace-clad look on her big day. The major differences were Kate’s sleeves, V neckline and an epic train. The Duchess’ gown was  by Alexander McQueen, while Pippa’s is a bespoke design by Giles Deacon.
