KARACHI: A police car from the Madadgar 15 unit struck a little child who was hurt when it was travelling on the incorrect side of the road close to the Shafiq Mor neighbourhood.

After the event, irate onlookers surrounded the police vehicle and started asking the officers if they had driven against the flow of traffic.

Mobile phone videos of the incident went popular on social media very fast.

The implicated cops have been suspended by the police, who have also started an inquiry.

The child’s medical costs would be paid for, the police stated.

Salman, the kid, was brought to a for-profit medical facility for treatment.
