An extensive search has been launched for Brazilian actress Maidê Mahl, who went missing in São Paulo. Mahl is well-known for her appearances in the Star+ series O Rei da TV (The King of TV) and the HBO Max series Vale dos Esquecidos (The Forgotten Valley).

The 31-year-old was last spotted on Monday around 3:30 pm in the affluent Moema area. She was sporting a brown beret, checkered leggings, a scarf, a beige overcoat, and a rucksack.

‘Missing’ banner with information about her last appearance was shared as part of an internet campaign started by friends and other performers after she vanished. Mahl was being treated at the Paulista School of Medicine for mental health concerns, as disclosed on Instagram by friend and psychiatrist Adilon Harley. Harley called her “one of the loves of our lives” and conveyed his genuine worries about her security.

Additionally, actress Giselle Itiê posted on Instagram asking people to help find Mahl and offer any pertinent information.

Mahl is still being sought after as the case is being looked upon by the São Paulo Civil Police.
