Film festival to honour Kareena Kapoor Khan’s 25 years in Bollywood

An Indian news source stated that a multi-city film festival is about to be launched in honour of Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan’s 25 years in the business.

The festival will honour the actress’s distinguished career by presenting some of her most well-known roles on screen once more.

One of the biggest names in Indian cinema, Kareena, has starred in the crime thriller The Buckingham Murders, which also happens to be her first production as a producer.

The movie, which debuted in theatres on September 13, 2024, has already attracted notice. Detective Jasmeet Bhamra, who is tasked with cracking the case of a kidnapping, is portrayed by Kareena.

Kareena shared behind-the-scenes photos and her delight in the production in a poignant Instagram post on the day of the movie’s premiere. She wrote, “As an actress, it’s the choices one makes… And I’m really happy with this decision. Watch this story to get a glimpse into my world of drama and crime.”

Hansal Mehta is the director of The Buckingham Murders, which also features Zain Hussain, Ash Tandon, and Ranveer Brar.

The film festival announcement coincides with the excitement among Kareena’s fan base for her impending role in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again, which is scheduled for release on Diwali in 2024.
