TRIPTII DIMRI DISCUSSES THE PRESSURES OF FAME AFTER ‘ANIMAL’

Triptii Dimri, who rose to fame for her role in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal, recently opened up about how her increasing popularity has affected her daily life.
In a recent interview with Indian media, she candidly admitted that while she always desired fame, it has come at the cost of her personal freedom. Reflecting on this change, she shared, “One wants fame, but I love my freedom too. I enjoy going for long walks and hanging out with my friends without worrying about other things. But now that this has happened, things have changed. I’m not free anymore; that sense of freedom has kind of faded away.”
Triptii fondly recalled her carefree days of strolling along Carter Road and dining out—activities she can no longer enjoy as easily. “I have to be very careful,” she remarked, expressing her longing for that part of her life.
To escape the pressures of fame, she often retreats to the mountains to recharge. Dimri acknowledged the challenges of adjusting to her growing fanbase, noting that the transition has not been easy.
Having completed four films last year, Triptii emphasized the importance of self-care, explaining that constant interactions can be mentally and physically draining.
Looking ahead, she is preparing for the release of Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, where she stars alongside Rajkummar Rao. This comedy-drama is set to hit theaters on October 11, 2024, where it will compete with Alia Bhatt’s Jigra, which features Vedang Raina.
