Azekah Daniel talks leaving being airhostess for acting

AZEKAH DANIEL DISCUSSES HER TRANSITION FROM AIR HOSTESS TO ACTING

Pakistani actress and model Azekah Daniel recently opened up about her journey from working as an air hostess to becoming a well-known figure in the entertainment industry.

In a recent interview, Azekah shared insights into her transition from aviation to acting, shedding light on the challenges she faced along the way. She revealed that she left her position as an air hostess in 2010 to pursue modeling and acting.

Her first modeling job took her to Japan, but she initially struggled with self-confidence in her acting abilities. “I didn’t think I could act,” Azekah admitted. “After my first project, I stepped away from showbiz for two years, but I eventually returned and have since appeared in numerous dramas.”

Azekah also discussed instances of harassment she encountered as an air hostess, sharing that passengers would often hand her business cards, which she found frustrating yet felt compelled to tolerate due to her job. She described this behavior as a form of harassment and noted its growing prevalence. “Giving business cards to an air hostess during a flight is harassment. Unfortunately, it’s becoming more common,” she emphasized.

She went on to address the broader issue of workplace harassment, calling for a shift in attitudes and stronger protections for women. “Some people assume that if a woman is working outside the home, she’s looking for a relationship,” she remarked, urging for cultural change and increased support for women in professional spaces.
