Bollywood’s iconic actress Vidya Balan is back to haunt (and thrill) audiences as Manjulika in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3! In her signature playful style, Vidya has issued a “warning” to fans: “Make sure you’re at the cinema on November 1st—or Manjulika will come after you!”

Seventeen years since her unforgettable role in the original Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Vidya’s return marks an exciting reunion with the franchise. At the trailer launch on October 9, Vidya expressed her gratitude for rejoining the Bhool Bhulaiyaa family, thanking producer Bhushan Kumar and reflecting on how much love the film has brought her over the years. “This film has been a journey for me, and I hope Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will captivate audiences for another 17 years,” she said.

The movie, shot in Jaipur, pays homage to the location where the first film was entirely filmed, adding to the nostalgia of her iconic character. Joining Vidya are stars Kartik Aaryan, who led Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, along with Tabu, Vijay Raaz, Madhuri Dixit, and Rajpal Yadav, promising an all-star experience.

Vidya first played the haunted character of Avni and her menacing alter ego Manjulika in 2007, alongside Akshay Kumar, in the original Bhool Bhulaiyaa, which became a Bollywood classic. Now, with a thrilling new chapter, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is set to bring back memories and make new ones this Diwali season!
