Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa CM Ali Amin Gandapur Meets Imran Khan to Finalize Protest Plans

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur visited former Prime Minister Imran Khan at Adiala Jail on Tuesday to discuss Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) strategy for the highly anticipated protest scheduled for November 24. The meeting also included deliberations on the party’s security plans and its role in the Apex Committee, a crucial body coordinating provincial and federal efforts.

Enhanced Security Ahead of the Visit

Ahead of Gandapur’s visit, heightened security measures were observed along Adiala Road and the surrounding areas. This increased vigilance underscores the political and strategic importance of the upcoming protest, which PTI leaders frame as a pivotal moment for Pakistan’s political landscape.

Bushra Bibi Calls for Unity and Focus

Bushra Bibi, the wife of Imran Khan, delivered an impassioned audio message urging PTI supporters to treat the November 24 protest not as a campaign for Imran Khan’s release, but as a fight for Pakistan’s future.

In her message, Bushra Bibi provided detailed guidance to party workers:

  • Involve the general public: Emphasize the inclusivity of the protest by recording videos featuring not just party members but also everyday citizens.
  • Prepare for communication blackouts: Anticipate potential internet shutdowns and establish alternative communication channels to maintain coordination.
  • Leverage social media: Encourage YouTubers and influencers to capture live footage, ensuring widespread visibility and transparency.
  • Support injured workers: She reassured that any injured protestors and their families would receive full support from party representatives, emphasizing PTI’s commitment to its workers.

Bushra Bibi framed the protest as a patriotic duty, stating, “This is not just about one man’s freedom. It is about the country’s honor, integrity, and future.” She called on supporters to embody loyalty and resilience, likening the cause to a test of their faith and allegiance.

A Nationwide Struggle

The November 24 protest is being positioned as a defining moment for PTI, with Bushra Bibi and other leaders urging supporters to view it as a collective struggle for the nation’s progress. The planned demonstrations aim to galvanize both the party and the general public, uniting them in a vision for a better Pakistan.
