Traveling can be stressful, but what makes it truly frustrating is when the airlines we trust fail to meet basic service standards. I recently had a troubling experience with AirSial that left me and many other passengers disheartened and questioning the accountability of both the airline and the governing authorities.

The Incident

My journey from Islamabad to Dammam with AirSial was scheduled for 7:20 PM. My fellow passengers and I checked in on time, but no one mentioned any delays. As the clock ticked on, 9:30 PM arrived, yet the flight hadn’t even started boarding. This wasn’t an isolated incident. On my previous trip from Dammam to Islamabad with the same airline, the flight was delayed by three hours. Experiencing a repeat of such poor service raises serious concerns about AirSial’s reliability as an international airline.

Lack of Communication

One of the most glaring issues was the complete lack of communication. Passengers were left in the dark about the reasons for the delay and the expected wait time. If there was a known delay, why weren’t passengers informed beforehand? Instead, we were checked in and left stranded in the terminal with no updates. Among the waiting passengers were families with young children, struggling without adequate food, water, or any clear information about how long this ordeal would last.

A Call for Accountability

This experience raises broader questions about governance and oversight. Why are airlines allowed to operate with such disregard for their customers? Why aren’t stricter penalties imposed for such repeated malpractices? These companies should not be allowed to exploit their passengers’ time, money, and trust.

I urge the Government and relevant authorities to take action against such practices. Passengers deserve better, and it’s high time airlines like AirSial are held accountable for their actions.
