Pakistani Fans Face ‘Tough’ Visa Rules for CT 2025 India Match in Dubai

Group stage tickets for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 are set to hit the market soon, with semi-final tickets to follow. Pakistani cricket enthusiasts hoping to travel to Dubai for the tournament may face challenges due to stringent visa regulations.

According to reports from Express News, previous visits to Dubai and a history of travel along with ticket purchases will heavily influence visa approvals for Pakistani fans. Unlike previous tournaments, free passes will not be issued this time, and all tickets must be purchased online as per ICC guidelines.

Ticket prices have been disclosed, ranging from approximately Rs1,000 for the cheapest tickets to between Rs25,000 and Rs30,000 for premium seats, particularly for high-demand matches like Pakistan vs. India.

The ICC Champions Trophy captains’ joint press conference is slated to occur in Pakistan on February 16 or 17. This conference will gather captains from all participating teams, including India’s Rohit Sharma, to discuss their preparations ahead of the tournament starting on February 19.

Visa arrangements, including for players, officials, media, sponsors, and fans, will be managed by the host board, ensuring a smooth experience for all participants.

Stay tuned as further details, including the schedule for warm-up matches and the final date for the captains’ press conference, will be announced soon.
