Two Sindh Officers Suspended for Misusing CM’s Plane

In a recent and surprising incident, two Sindh government officials faced suspension for misusing the Chief Minister’s private aircraft. The controversy sparked when the officers, along with their families, boarded the plane without prior authorization.

This incident involved grade 17 officials, Syed Faraz Ali and Wajid Shah, who took the flight from Islamabad to Karachi. Reports indicate that the flight was intended as a test run for the aircraft, making their unauthorized travel even more questionable.

The government of Sindh acted swiftly, issuing a notification to suspend the two officials. Syed Faraz Ali, a Section Officer from the PM’s cadre, and Wajid Shah, a Protocol Officer at Sindh House, were explicitly named in the statement.

Chief Secretary of Sindh, Asif Haider Shah, clarified that the officers did not have any clearance to travel on the flight. This situation highlights the critical need for accountability and stricter governance protocols to prevent the misuse of government resources.
