PSL Final 2025 – How the Drama Unfolded

With a mountain to climb, Lahore Qalandars came out with fierce intent. Openers Mohammad Naeem (46) and Abdullah Shafique (41) laid the platform before Kusal Perera took charge with a breathtaking 62 off 31 balls, anchoring the innings and keeping the asking rate in check.

But the moment that sealed the deal belonged to Sikandar Raza. Arriving in Lahore barely minutes before the toss after flying from England, Raza held his nerve to hit the winning runs, finishing on 22* with two sixes and two boundaries. His fearless strokeplay in the final over—13 runs required—led Lahore to a six-wicket win.
