The controversy surrounding Haris Khokhar denies abuse claims by Dr Nabiha Ali Khan has taken social media by storm, with both sides presenting sharply different narratives about their troubled marriage.
The issue surfaced after Dr. Nabiha Ali Khan appeared on a Ramadan transmission hosted by Fiza Ali, where she alleged that she faced mental and physical torture at the hands of her in-laws. The emotional interview quickly went viral, sparking intense public debate.
Breaking his silence, Haris Khokhar firmly rejected the accusations. He stated that changes in a woman’s appearance after marriage should not automatically be linked to mistreatment. According to him, photographs from before and after the wedding tell their own story and do not support the claims being made.
Haris also dismissed reports that his wife was neglected or mistreated inside the house. Addressing circulating rumors, he claimed he possesses evidence including home CCTV recordings that contradict the narrative being shared publicly.
He further denied that Dr. Nabiha was forcibly removed from the house. Instead, he maintained that she packed her belongings and left on her own without informing family members.
In his statement, Haris defended his family’s honor and stressed that there were no domestic disputes as being portrayed. He urged people not to jump to conclusions based solely on emotional appearances.
Sharing a reflective note, he said emotions alone should not determine who is right or wrong. According to him, tears do not automatically confirm truth, just as silence does not indicate guilt.
During her appearance on Fiza Ali’s show, Dr. Nabiha Ali Khan became visibly emotional while recounting her experience. She alleged that she endured two months of severe mental stress and mistreatment after marriage.
In the widely circulated clip, she questioned her husband directly, asking why her life had been “destroyed.” She claimed she left everything behind for her marriage but was eventually forced to leave her marital home.
Dr. Nabiha described psychological torture as more painful than physical harm and said the stress significantly affected her health. She also expressed concern for other women who may be facing similar challenges but lack the platform or support to speak out.
As Haris Khokhar denies abuse claims by Dr Nabiha Ali Khan, the situation has evolved into a larger social discussion about marital disputes, public accusations, and the role of media trials. Social media remains divided, with some supporting Dr. Nabiha’s courage to speak up, while others demand evidence before forming opinions.
At this stage, the matter remains a case of conflicting statements, with both parties standing firm on their positions.
