Samsung Galaxy Z Series Unpacked 2025: Innovation for Every User
Samsung has once again taken the lead in the foldable smartphone market by unveiling its highly anticipated Galaxy Z Series at Unpacked 2025. The event featured three powerful new additions to the foldable family—the premium Galaxy Z Fold7, the stylish Galaxy Z Flip7, and the all-new budget-conscious Galaxy Z Flip7 FE. With this lineup, Samsung is making bold strides toward making foldable technology more accessible than ever before.
Samsung’s new flagship, the Galaxy Z Fold7, is lighter, sleeker, and more powerful. Weighing just 215 grams and only 8.9mm thick when folded, this device brings luxury and performance together seamlessly. Its massive 8-inch internal folding screen and 6.5-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X cover display both offer up to 2,600 nits of peak brightness, delivering stunning visuals under any lighting.
Under the hood, it features the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy processor, offering a 41% faster Neural Processing Unit (NPU). You can choose from up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage—perfect for multitaskers and power users.
Camera capabilities take a massive leap with a 200MP wide sensor and Samsung’s new ProVisual AI, enabling exceptional low-light photography, intelligent framing, and professional-quality results. The under-display camera, multitasking interface, and Galaxy AI tools like Note Assist and Live Translate make this a true productivity beast.
Samsung also ensures user data remains private through Knox Vault, with AI processing happening either on-device or through secure cloud access.
The Galaxy Z Flip7 takes the clamshell design to the next level. The standout feature is its 4.1-inch FlexWindow—Samsung’s largest yet—offering access to essential apps, Google Gemini AI, widgets, and smart tools without opening the device.
Inside, the Flip7 sports a 6.9-inch AMOLED display and is powered by the Exynos 2500 chipset, delivering ultra-smooth performance for daily use. With a 4,300mAh battery, it’s also the longest-lasting Flip device to date.
Camera-wise, it houses a 50MP sensor optimized for hands-free FlexCam shots. AI-powered features allow voice commands, smart replies, and enhanced visual assistance, turning the Flip7 into a pocket-sized powerhouse for creators and digital-savvy users.
The surprise show-stealer was the introduction of the Galaxy Z Flip7 FE, Samsung’s first-ever Fan Edition foldable aimed at affordability without compromising innovation. Priced at approximately $899, this device opens the door for younger and first-time foldable users.
It includes a 6.7-inch main display and a compact 3.4-inch cover screen. Though it lacks some premium extras like an expanded FlexWindow, it still features a solid 50MP camera, Photo Assist, and Gemini AI Widgets. Powered by the Exynos 2400 and equipped with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage, it runs efficiently on a 4,000mAh battery.
Samsung’s triple-device strategy is a clear signal of its intent to dominate the foldables space.
Since pioneering the category in 2019, Samsung has consistently stayed ahead. With competition heating up from Google, Motorola, and Xiaomi, Samsung is doubling down—offering choices for every type of user.
All three devices will be available globally starting July 25, with pre-orders already live on Samsung’s official site. Limited edition colors and exclusive bundles are available in select regions.
In Pakistan, Samsung foldables are usually launched in phases via official distributors and authorized retailers. The Flip7 and Fold7 are expected to arrive soon, with pre-orders likely to begin in late July. Final pricing will depend on regional duties, storage variants, and retail availability.
