Natural Healthy Nails Tips You Need To Know

Most of us forget that like the rest part of the body our nails too reflects our inner health, it is essential that we look after them to keep them strong and healthy. Besides a manicure once in a while, there are not many people who actually take nail care seriously and very often we have seen men and women suffering from unhealthy, discolored or chipped nails.
So, let us try and describe some of the nails problems that outbreak many of us and how we tend to ignore them. The nail plate from where your nail grows is several millimeters below the base of the nail and it takes about nine months for a few nails to grow. Nails indicate your state of health just as clearly as the condition of your skin, eyes, hairs and other parts of the body. Pale nails with vertical edges indicates anemia or extreme dryness from using many detergents. Blue nails point to inefficient circulation and not enough oxygen in your blood. If your nails are thin and constantly breaking then it indicates that there is inadequate of vitamin, minerals and insufficient care of the nails.
Here are some tips to start the care of your nails:
1- Cracked and chipped nails
These can be extremely embarrassing and we have seen many women apply nail polish to different nail length which look like a complete nightmare. We can strengthen our nails by following the steps below:
Warm a little olive oil and massage your nails 3 times in a week. By doing this repeatedly we can strengthen our nails.
Never throw away lemon peels after you have squeezed the juice from it. Instead, rub them on yours nails daily. This will shine your nails and will also make them smooth.
2- Cuticle softener
Vinegar and fresh pineapple can soften the cuticles. Mash the pineapple and add vinegar to it. Dip the nails up to the cuticles in the mixture, massage regularly for good results.
3- The goodness of papaya
Papaya contains enzymes that can soften the cuticle tissues and is also good for nails. Mash papaya and add lemon juice and 1 table spoon vinegar. Soak your nails in the mixtures for at least 20 minutes and massage into your skin regularly. This treatment needs to be done to do at least for 7 days to get effective results.
4- Strong nail diet
Calcium, gelatin and B-complex vitamins are very essential for healthy nails. Vitamin D cures nail ridges, folic acid and vitamin C cures hangnails and spilt nails. Nail ridges are cracks in the skin along the sides of the nails that can be mostly painful. It can be reduced by drinking diluted cider vinegar to strengthen the nails and in order to make it we can coat two layers of fresh lemon juice.
5- Callouses and brittle nails
Warm 250ml of olive oil or castor oil, add half a cup of sage leaves and heat this mixture for 5 minutes. Rub it regularly on your nails in order to get shiny nails. You can also take 125 ml honey, 1 egg yolk, 125 ml avocado oil or castor oil and 2ml sea salt. Beat the ingredients and keep in a screw top and in the refrigerator. Rub into the nails daily, leave it on the nails for half hour and then wash it with fresh water.
