Confessing to the murders of 100 young boys, this chilling tale has garnered international recognition. It premiered at a film festival in the United Kingdom and earned a coveted spot at the esteemed Berlin International Art Film Festival.
Director Abu Aleeha clarified the reasons behind the decision to change the film’s title. Concerns were raised that the original name, “Javed Iqbal”, could be misinterpreted as glorifying the character. Aleeha emphasized that the film’s purpose was never to glorify Iqbal or his abhorrent crimes. Instead, the intention was to raise awareness and prompt individuals to identify child abusers while taking measures to safeguard children.
