Actress Saadia Imam recently shared an unexpected story from her wedding, revealing how her bridal gown was accidentally burned during its preparation.
Appearing on a morning show, Imam explained that she ran a boutique, and her wedding dress was being made when a short circuit led to a fire, destroying the entire factory along with her gown.
“I was heartbroken because the dress was in my mother’s favorite color,” Imam recalled.
She went on to describe how a former customer, for whom she had created a similar dress, kindly offered hers for Imam to wear.
“She told me I could wear her dress since her wedding was after mine,” Imam said, expressing deep gratitude.
The actress ended up wearing the customer’s gown on her wedding day and later made a new one for the bride, mirroring the original design. Imam’s story is a testament to kindness and generosity during challenging moments.
