Jolie’s Stellar Streak Continues
Jolie’s role in Stitches follows her lauded portrayal of opera legend Maria Callas in Pablo Larraín’s Maria, which premiered to an eight-minute standing ovation at the Venice Film Festival. Her ability to blend personal narratives with universal themes earned Virginie Efira a César Award for Paris Memories. With Stitches, Winocour dives into the captivating world of high fashion while exploring the lives and aspirations of women who shape it.
A Diverse and Dynamic Collaboration
Stitches is part of Charles Gillibert’s eclectic slate, which includes projects like Jim Jarmusch’s Father Mother Sister Brother and Kristen Stewart’s directorial debut, The Chronology of Water. With a team of celebrated filmmakers and Jolie at the helm, Stitches promises to be a cinematic masterpiece that blends glamour, artistry, and depth.
