Pakistan to host ICC Women’s T20 World Cup trophy on four-day tour

The trophy for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup is scheduled to arrive in Lahore tomorrow and travel across Pakistan for four days. The trophy will be transported to Multan after it arrives, where it will be unveiled during the women’s match between Pakistan and South Africa at the Multan Stadium.

The trophy will travel to Faisalabad on September 19 and stay there for two days. It will be on show at the Faisalabad Stadium during the Champions One Day Cup game. The trophy will tour several historical locations in the city the next day. On September 21, the Women’s T20 World Cup trophy will leave for Dubai.

On October 3, the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup will begin, with matches being held in Dubai and Sharjah. On the same day, Pakistan’s first game against Sri Lanka will take place. The three-match Bank Alfalah T20I series between Pakistan’s women’s cricket team, captained by Fatima Sana, and Laura Wolvaardt’s South Africa is scheduled to begin on Monday at the scenic Multan Cricket Stadium.

The fact that this is the first T20I series to be held at the location gives the occasion more significance. September 18 and 20 are the dates for the second and third Twenty20 Internationals. The first two games will begin at 7:00 p.m. PST, and the last match will start at 10:00 a.m.
