The latest court appearance of alleged drug network operator Anmol Pinky has sparked intense public attention after she openly accused law-enforcement officials of pressuring her into giving “false statements.” The controversial case continues to dominate headlines as multiple investigations against her move forward in Karachi.

During her appearance before judicial magistrates on Saturday, Anmol Pinky strongly disputed the police’s official version regarding her arrest. According to authorities, she was arrested in Karachi on May 12. However, Pinky claimed she had actually been detained in Lahore nearly 22 days earlier and was later shifted to Karachi.

Anmol Pinky False Statements

The dramatic courtroom scenes quickly became the center of discussion on social media as videos of her resisting police officials circulated online.

Anmol Pinky appeared before courts in Karachi’s South, Central, and Malir districts in connection with several narcotics-related cases. Police officers escorted her with her face covered by a chador, but she repeatedly attempted to remove it while speaking to journalists and court officials.

In an emotional outburst, she alleged that authorities were forcing her to make statements involving Banigala, an area associated with former prime minister Imran Khan.

While speaking in court, Pinky claimed:

“They picked me up from Lahore and brought me here 22 days ago.”

She further accused officials of using pressure tactics during custody. Her statements instantly fueled debate online, with many questioning the details surrounding her arrest timeline.

Despite the controversy, police managed to secure additional physical remand for investigation purposes. Judicial Magistrate Abdul Sattar approved a six-day remand in a narcotics case registered at the Special Investigation Unit (SIU) police station.

The court order mentioned that Anmol Pinky had complained about alleged mistreatment while in custody. However, the magistrate noted that no visible signs of violence were found at the time. Even so, the court directed authorities to arrange a medical examination through a woman medico-legal officer and provide treatment if necessary.

Investigators informed the court that Pinky was allegedly linked to a wider narcotics network involving suppliers, riders, dealers, and managers operating under her system.

Apart from narcotics charges, Anmol Pinky is also facing allegations connected to a murder case registered at Baghdadi police station. In that matter, the court granted a two-day physical remand.

According to investigators, the victim in the case reportedly died after consuming narcotics allegedly associated with Pinky’s brand. Authorities insist further investigation is necessary to uncover the full network and trace additional suspects who are currently absconding.

Her legal team, however, strongly rejected the accusations. Defense lawyers argued that evidence had been manipulated and claimed stickers carrying her alleged brand name were intentionally placed on recovered items.

The defense also alleged that Pinky’s former husband, Rana Nasir, may have played a role in implicating her due to personal disputes following their separation.

The high-profile suspect is currently facing over a dozen cases related to narcotics across different police stations, including Garden, Gizri, Darakhshan, and Sachal areas.

Police officials stated that more arrests could follow as investigations continue. Authorities believe several members of the alleged network remain at large and are attempting to trace them through ongoing interrogations.

Meanwhile, Anmol Pinky has continued to deny all allegations against her. She insists the cases are fabricated and maintains that she has been unfairly targeted.

The courtroom developments, emotional statements, and growing media attention have turned the case into one of the most talked-about controversies in recent days.
