Bollywood’s quintessential romantic actor Emraan Hashmi is enjoying a massive wave of success at the global box office. His latest theatrical release, Awarapan 2, continues to dominate cinemas through its second week, drawing massive crowds and delivering impressive commercial figures.
Within just 11 days of its theatrical run, the film has earned approximately ₹139 crore net across India. Globally, its total gross box office collection has escalated to a remarkable ₹196.55 crore.

When Awarapan 2 first arrived in theaters, initial interest came predominantly from longtime fans of Emraan Hashmi’s iconic filmography. However, strong word-of-mouth surrounding the movie’s compelling storyline, haunting soundtrack, and stellar performances quickly transformed it into a mainstream cinematic event. The surging demand led to packed theaters and extended showtimes well into its second week.
On its 11th day in theaters, the feature brought in ₹2.75 crore within India, taking its domestic net collection to ₹139 crore and pushing its domestic gross earnings to ₹165.75 crore. Meanwhile, international markets added approximately ₹50 lakh on day 11, raising total overseas earnings to ₹30.80 crore. Combined, these figures seal the film’s global gross collection at ₹196.55 crore.
Beyond pure collection figures, Awarapan 2 has achieved exceptional profit margins. The film has officially surpassed the profit percentage of Emraan Hashmi’s 2004 blockbuster Murder. While Murder yielded around a 200% return on investment, Awarapan 2 achieved a stellar 215% profit return within its first 10 days alone. (Note: Profit percentages reflect estimates based on production budgets and total revenues.)
Securing its spot among the top five highest-grossing Bollywood films of the year, Awarapan 2 is currently setting its sight on surpassing the box office records set by Dhamaal 4.
Directed to keep audiences glued to their seats, the film also features prominent performances by Disha Patani and veteran actress Shabana Azmi alongside Emraan Hashmi.
