Posted on September 8, 2024 by News Desk
The Meteorological Department predicts that Karachi will have humid weather with partly cloudy skies for the duration of the day. Light drizzle may occur in different parts of the city over the next 24 hours, while no considerable rainfall is predicted.
In Karachi, the minimum temperature of the day was 26.5°C, and the maximum temperature is expected to be 33°C. It is predicted that sea breezes will blow at 10 to 20 km/h, and the heavy humidity is causing the temperature to feel around 5°C hotter than it actually is.
Although there isn’t going to be any significant rain in the city over the next 24 hours, locals should nonetheless prepare for sporadic drizzle in some places.
Yesterday, the Pakistan Meteorological Department reported that the city’s lowest temperature was 27°C.
It was predicted that yesterday’s high temperature in the city would be between 30°C and 32°C. There was an 11 km/h wind coming from the southwest, and the humidity was up to 85%. Because to the possibility of greater moisture levels during the day due to the drizzle, residents were warned to prepare for slightly damp circumstances.
Due to heavy rains last month, Karachi’s streets are in horrible shape, with residential streets almost completely impassable and main roads collapsing.
Residents now live in dangerous conditions and there have been major traffic problems as a result of the damage.
Potholes and overflowing sewage have rendered Korangi’s connection road to Landhi almost inaccessible, which has resulted in numerous accidents. University Road has become a major traffic bottleneck due to the construction of the BRT Red Line, which was already causing strain.
