Fans had to speculate as to what Malik said to Cabello after seeing a video that was posted on X. Regarding their shared past on The X Factor, a fan proposed that Malik make the statement, “we went solo and took down Simon Cowell.”

“They gossiping about 1D and 5H,” someone else said, alluding to Malik and Cabello’s previous groups, One Direction and Fifth Harmony.
