University of the Punjab (UOP) Job Openings for Pakistani Nationals

The University of the Punjab (UOP) has announced new job opportunities for Pakistani citizens, offering various positions on a daily wage or contingent basis. These roles are funded through self-supporting or departmental funds and are available for a duration of 89 days, in accordance with the Government of Punjab’s policy framework. This initiative provides candidates with a chance to gain valuable work experience while contributing to one of Pakistan’s premier educational institutions.

Available Positions

1. Driver (1 Position)
   Candidates should have at least a middle school education, with a preference for those who hold a matriculation certificate. Applicants must possess valid LTV and HTV driving licenses to operate vans, cars, and other vehicles.
2. Sanitary Worker (1 Position)
   Preference will be given to applicants with primary education, although illiterate candidates are also encouraged to apply.
3. Cook (1 Position)
   This position is open to literate candidates, and prior cooking experience is beneficial.

Terms and Conditions

These positions are strictly on a daily wage or contingent basis. Selected candidates will not have any claims to regular employment or legal recourse for continued employment. The hiring is temporary, with no opportunity for regularization or extension beyond the specified term.

Interested candidates must submit their applications online via the official link: http://111.68.103.6/nonteaching. Applications submitted through any other means will not be considered. The deadline for online submissions is October 18, 2024, and the portal will close at 4:00 PM on that date.

After completing the online application, candidates must send a hard copy of their application, including attested documents such as degrees, CNIC, and testimonials, to the Registrar’s office at the University of the Punjab, Quaid-i-Azam Campus, Lahore, via registered post or courier. Hand-delivered applications will not be accepted.
