CHEATING ISSUES HIT DRAGON BALL SPARKING ZERO MULTIPLAYER

Cheating issues surface in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero multiplayer matches days after release

Just days after the launch of Dragon Ball Sparking Zero, players are already encountering issues with cheating in online matches. A recent video on the game’s official Reddit page reveals one player exploiting a cheat to continuously refill their Ki meter, allowing for an endless stream of super attacks. In the clip, a player using Gogeta struggles to charge their Ki meter while their opponent, controlling Kefla, disrupts their moves with a relentless Gigantic Ray attack.

According to Reddit users, this infinite Ki refill cheat originated from a mod hosted on Nexus Mods, a popular modding site. As of October 14, 2024, the mod has been taken down and is no longer available for download.

However, some players argue that the situation might not involve cheating. A commenter suggested that the effect could come from the “God Ki” ability capsule, which reduces the Ki cost of super attacks and automatically refills the Ki meter if an attack misses. This would mean the issue may arise from legitimate game features rather than mods.

Regardless of the cause, the online community remains frustrated by the apparent ease of accessing instant Ki regeneration. Players recommend checking multiplayer settings to ensure the “God Ki” capsule is disabled, and to report any suspected cheating.
