Two Pakistani Startups Selected for Google’s First AI Academy in the APAC Region
Exciting news! Two innovative Pakistani startups, AdalFi and Adlytic AI, have been selected to participate in Google’s inaugural Artificial Intelligence (AI) Academy, alongside 23 other companies from the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. This initiative aims to enhance AI solutions and drive business growth.
The program kicked off earlier this week with a three-day boot camp in Singapore, where participants will receive over 170 hours of mentorship from AI and Cloud experts, along with up to $350,000 in Google Cloud credits. They will also have opportunities to connect with AI innovators from across the region.
Launched in August, the AI Academy supports the development of AI startups in Pakistan and the wider APAC area, fostering cross-border innovations and partnerships to accelerate the growth of AI solutions.
AdalFi is revolutionizing financial accessibility with its AI-powered credit scoring system, while Adlytic AI is transforming retail analytics by turning CCTV cameras into intelligent business tools.
Michael Kim, Head of Google for Startups, emphasized the program’s goal to harness AI’s potential to tackle significant challenges, from improving financial services to democratizing influencer marketing.
All participating startups will showcase their refined AI solutions to investors and industry leaders on Graduation Day this December.
