Reflecting on the getaway, Atiqa highlighted how crucial it is for married couples to step away from daily routines and prioritize one another.

“I was in Islamabad. It was just a holiday; I had some work engagements there as well. The weather was lovely. It was a rainy and romantic season,” she shared. “My husband and I drove through the streets and resuscitated our romance, and it is very important to bring back romantic moments in life. Go on holidays together, leaving the children at home, listen to good music there are many things that I can’t tell here.”

The legendary actor emphasized that busy schedules often cause couples to lose sight of their bond. Taking dedicated time to reconnect, she noted, breathes new energy into a relationship. She also added a lighthearted comparison between cities, pointing out why Islamabad provided the ideal backdrop for their break.

“In Karachi, we can’t be romantic because as soon as you go out for a drive, either your car gets stuck in a ditch or the dust comes in your face. So, Islamabad is a beautiful, romantic place.”
