Rabia Butt has turned a personal experience from her flood relief efforts into something with the potential to reach far beyond a single campaign. The Pakistani model and actress has officially registered the Rabia Butt Foundation with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), giving formal shape to a humanitarian initiative that began with a desire to help families in need.
The actress announced the development on Instagram, sharing an official registration document alongside a heartfelt message about what inspired her to establish the organization.

The foundation traces its roots to Rabia’s involvement in flood relief work last September and October. While working directly to assist people affected by the floods, she encountered the practical difficulties that can come with organizing donations through personal channels.
Managing contributions became increasingly complicated while the relief work was underway. At one stage, one of her brothers provided access to his account so people could continue contributing to the relief effort.
For Rabia, the experience raised a bigger question: how could she create a system that would allow her to continue helping people in a more organized and sustainable way?
That realization became the starting point for what would eventually become the Rabia Butt Foundation.
Rather than keeping her humanitarian efforts limited to individual relief drives, Rabia has now established a formally registered non-profit organisation.
The foundation is intended to provide practical assistance to people facing difficult circumstances. According to Rabia, its work may include helping provide meals, supporting medical treatment, and assisting families who are struggling, as well as offering support to people who may have nowhere else to turn.
She has also highlighted three principles she wants the organization to uphold: honesty, transparency and consistency.
That emphasis reflects the lesson she says she took from her earlier relief work. For Rabia, the goal is not simply to respond when a crisis occurs but to create a structure through which support can continue.
Rabia has been open about the fact that the foundation is deeply personal to her. In announcing its registration, she explained that she does not see herself as someone capable of changing the world single-handedly. Instead, she described helping others as a responsibility connected to having the ability to do so.
Her message also acknowledged that establishing the foundation is only the beginning. She expects the journey to bring challenges, but said she is moving forward with faith and a strong sense of purpose.
She asked her followers to pray that the initiative remains a source of dignity, hope, and ease for those who need support.
One of the most notable aspects of Rabia’s announcement was her decision to present the foundation as a collective effort rather than something belonging solely to her.
She invited her followers to become part of the journey, reflecting her belief that meaningful help can grow when people contribute together.
The announcement received warm responses from fans and followers, while actresses Syeda Tuba and Sunita Marshall were also among those who congratulated Rabia on the new chapter.
With its official registration now complete, the Rabia Butt Foundation represents a significant step in Rabia’s humanitarian journey. What started with her experience of trying to help flood-affected families has evolved into a formal platform that she hopes can provide practical and dignified support on an ongoing basis.
