PM PRAISES PAKISTAN ARMY’S CONTRIBUTION TO UPHOLDING STABILITY IN THE REGION

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has praised the Pakistan Army’s vital role in preserving strategic stability in the area, especially in nuclear-armed South Asia, and expressed complete satisfaction with the army’s operational readiness.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the prime minister recognized the military’s efforts in maintaining the balance of power that is necessary for peace when he spoke at the Army War Game’s final session on Thursday in Rawalpindi.
A thorough briefing on the recently ended wargame and the army’s operational capability to counter a variety of threats was given to the prime minister. Senior military leaders, Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, Information Minister Attuallah Tarar, and Minister of Defense Khawaja Asif attended the meeting.
Shehbaz applauded the army for its creative tactics and structural changes meant to bolster deterrence. In the event of aggression, he emphasized the significance of making sure that any adversary faces “retributive costs.”
The military leadership reiterated their resolve to protect territorial integrity and national sovereignty at any costs.
The Pakistan Army is fully aware of the current security issues and would keep improving its ability to counter any threats, it was emphasized.
