Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck put on a united front as they attended their children’s back-to-school night together, despite their ongoing divorce.

According to TMZ, the former couple appeared at a Los Angeles school on Tuesday evening to support their kids. Sources described their interaction as “cordial” and “totally cool with each other.”

Insiders also revealed that, despite the divorce, they still “care for each other.”

Lopez, 55, shares 16-year-old twins, Emme and Max, with her ex-husband Marc Anthony, while Affleck, 52, has three children—Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12—from his previous marriage to Jennifer Garner.

The Gigli co-stars have been seen together recently, putting their differences aside for the sake of their blended family. Over the weekend, they were spotted having lunch at the Beverly Hills Hotel, marking their first public appearance since Lopez filed for divorce last month.

Photos captured the family, minus Violet who is away at college, arriving at the Polo Lounge for a meal. According to Page Six, during lunch, Affleck was very affectionate, unable to keep his hands off Lopez. They even spent time alone, holding hands and kissing, which sources claim was “not planned.”

“They’ve always had strong sexual chemistry,” a source told Page Six. “They’re still attracted to each other.”

Lopez and Affleck were married for two years before she filed for divorce in August.
