PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week – Day 2

We are keeping an eye on the red carpet, the It girls and the fashion bloggers who are innovating.

Monochromes it is!

Day 2 of Sunsilk PFDC Fashion Week began with Cynosure’s trendy monochromes. The showcase in Expo center opened to a full house of fashion lovers. Cropped pants in summer colours paired with the hot Borjan shoe collection were the highlights of Faiza Saqlain’s summer looks. With a soundtrack bringing back memories of Enigma, Ali Merch’s collection was spot on in giving us some serious denim in summer vibes.

Of florals and flares!

Intricate was the word for Tena Durrani’s fab collection. Gold and sheers were delicately grouped to present an awesome wardrobe. Floral cutwork and Japanese traditional kimonos were highlights of Shiza Hasan’s Lolita. Saira Rizwan with summer flares, stripes and tassels paired with colourful totes brought statement fashion to the ramp.

Amir Adnan’s Spectacular Ramp

If there is one designer we find elegant yet cool its Amir Adnan, whose fashion sensibility stays on cue with the changing trends. The highlight of his impeccable menswear was the traditional Khoja dressing, immortalized by the classy Jinnah cap.

Ethnic and Trendy

Ethnic by Outfitters is synonymous with the boho vibes. A bold colour palette was what we experienced with Mishal Asad’s Cross Stitch collection with its Peplum sleeves and intricate detailing. The solid colours with fun sequins are a go to choice this season.

The spirit of Totem

The wrap of the day was Khadija Shah’s Totem for Sapphire with oriental undertones and belts that stand out. The earthy colours with tassel earrings and chic animal motifs on plain fabrics were spot on with the aptly named collection.
