SOUTH AFRICAN WOMEN LAND IN LAHORE FOR IT20 SERIES

LAHORE: On Friday morning, the women’s cricket team from South Africa, captained by Laura Wolvaardt, touched down at the Allama Iqbal International Airport in preparation for three Twenty20 matches against the women of Pakistan. From September 16 to September 20, 2024, the Multan Cricket Stadium will host three Twenty20 matches with the women from South Africa.
The three IT20 series served as a warm-up for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, which will take place in the United Arab Emirates from October 3–20, 2024. The series will aid in the South African women’s cricket team’s adjustment to the UAE’s climate. Training sessions for the team are scheduled on September 14 and 15, 2024.
Team leaders Laura Wolvaardt (South Africa) and Fatima Sana (Pakistan) will hold a pre-series media conference before to the training session on September 15 and will present the trophy following the media engagement.
The South African women’s cricket team will take a chartered jet to reach Multan.
