Another PIA crew member goes missing in Toronto

Another flight attendant from Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), identified as Mohsin Raza from Islamabad, has gone missing in Canada. Scheduled to report for a flight from Karachi on October 13, Raza failed to check in at the Toronto hotel, sparking concern. This incident marks more than a dozen PIA crew members reported missing in Toronto over the past year.

Despite policies requiring flight attendants to submit their passports to airline authorities, these measures have proven ineffective in preventing such disappearances. A PIA spokesperson confirmed that an investigation is underway, and if misconduct is established, disciplinary actions—including possible termination—may be enforced.

In a similar incident in June, Noor Sher, another PIA flight attendant, went missing after arriving on flight PK 781 from Pakistan to Toronto. Reports suggest that many of these missing crew members have applied for asylum in Canada.
