Sheikh Dr.. Millions Continue Hajj Journey Despite Challenges

This year’s Hajj welcomed more than 1.6 million pilgrims from across the globe. Despite ongoing conflict and uncertainty in parts of the Middle East, Muslims continued their sacred journey with faith and determination.

Saudi authorities introduced several measures to support pilgrims during the extreme heat, including shaded areas, water distribution points, and emergency medical services. Pilgrims were repeatedly advised to stay hydrated and protect themselves from direct sunlight during outdoor rituals.

After sunset at Mount Arafat, pilgrims traveled to Muzdalifah, where they prepared for the next stage of Hajj by collecting pebbles for the symbolic stoning ritual in Mina.
