The latest Tamasha Season 5 episode delivered a major twist for viewers when Esra Ayesha appeared to be heading out of the house, only for the situation to change moments later. What looked like another eviction eventually turned into a no-elimination week, keeping the entire cast in the competition for now.
The reality show, hosted by Adnan Siddiqui, continues to air on ARY Digital, with the programme also offering an extended viewing experience through ARY Plus. ARY Digital’s official listings currently show the fifth season continuing through its latest episodes.

During the elimination special, Esra was told that she had been eliminated from the competition. The moment appeared serious enough for her fellow contestants to prepare for her departure, while Zayb Khan was visibly emotional as Esra got ready to leave.
Esra, meanwhile, remained composed as she made her way toward the exit. The housemates gathered to see her off, creating what seemed to be a familiar farewell scene from the reality show’s elimination episodes.
But the situation did not end there.
Badshah Salamat later called Esra back, changing the direction of the episode. Adnan Siddiqui subsequently revealed that there would be no elimination during Week 7, meaning the contestants would remain in the house and continue into the next stage of the competition.
The development adds another layer to a season that has already featured shifting alliances, disagreements and changing fortunes among its contestants.
Esra has been part of several notable moments during the season. Earlier in September, ARY News reported an on-screen confrontation between Esra and Dr Zee, highlighting the tensions that have emerged inside the Tamasha house.
The show’s official contestant information has also identified Esra Ayesha among the Season 5 housemates alongside names including Laila, Samiya Hijab, Babrik Shah, Zayb Khan, Dr Zee Khan, Rabia Javaid Sheikh, Ramsha Salahuddin and others.
With no contestant leaving during the latest week, those remaining in the house now have additional time to strengthen their positions and navigate the next round of competition.
A no-elimination week can significantly alter the rhythm of a reality competition. Contestants who might have been vulnerable remain in contention, while existing alliances and rivalries have more time to develop.
For viewers, the most striking part of the episode was the reversal involving Esra. What initially appeared to be a straightforward departure ultimately became a dramatic save, leaving her inside the Tamasha house rather than sending her home.
As Tamasha Season 5 moves forward, the decision also keeps the competition open for another week, with the remaining contestants still facing the possibility of elimination when the regular eviction cycle resumes.
For now, Esra remains part of the house, and Week 7 closes without an eviction making the latest episode less about who left and more about who stayed.
