Brides You QHSA’17 Style Watch
Posted on October 24, 2017 by Editorial Team Bridesandyou
With all the songs and the dances and the funny one-liners aside, what we dug was the experimentation we saw on the red carpet. Pakistani celebrities are finally picking out somewhat daring and unique outfits and we absolutely loved it. Here are our picks of the hottest and some lukewarm celebrity looks we came across this QMobile Hum Style Awards 2017.
The Hottest:
Madiha Imam
Madiha wore a beautiful gradient teal by Zoria Dor straight out of a fairytale. The pretty-pretty ensemble did justice to her sweet girl-next-door look. The dainty work on the bodice and the flow of the skirt – we can go on and on about how pretty everything looked!
Ayesha Omar
There is one princess in every red-carpet event, always! One always shows up in a pearl white, pastel pink or, like this time, a plum formal gown. Ayesha certainly dazzled with her queen-like dress. Her style game has gone incredibly up after her Yalghaar days. The queen wore a Russian made Valdrin Sahiti sparkly plum gown.
Sonya Hussyn
Her steamy Adnan Pardesy shoot is still the talk of the town. Hussyn showed up in a sizzling off-shoulder black and white saree by Studio Designs, slicked back hair and dark maroon lips. Leaving every single person on the carpet awestruck, Sonya became quite a showstopper.
Sadaf Kanwal
Sadaf wore a very Bollywood, barely-there black chiffon saree with a slick bun. So simple yet so classy. Zaheer Abbas is the designer behind our new-favorite saree.
Saba Qamar
Light pink Shehla Chatoor mermaid dress Saba’s pick for the night. The entire look kept very simple looked really classy and grown up. We could have Photoshopped her on Emmy’s red carpet and no one would have batted an eye.
The Lukewarms:
Urwa Hocane
Urwa Hocane has these really innocent, doll-like features which we absolutely adore. Putting her in a very constricted, all-shimmery silver gown was not the wisest choice. It almost looked like an armor.
Saheefa Jabbar Khattak
There is a thing as too much orange. Especially when it’s neon. We loved her orange eye makeup though. One thing Saheefa did manage to look was fierce and she was that even before her win at the awards.
Mawra Hocane
When in doubt, wear red. Seems like Hocane sister took it too seriously. Wearing red two-piece by Semsem, Mawra did look cute but it was a little off when it comes to an awards night.
Hania Aamir
We never thought we would be saying this: Hania Aamir was not on the top of her style game at this year’s Hum Style Awards. Everything worked out waist up. Skirt was just bizarre.
